Welcome to the Pickett Steam and Gas Engine Club

Club History

The club was organized in October 1987, with 21 members. The club was founded by "Gomer" Buehring  & Mike Kolb.

Old tractors, steam engines and vintage farm machinery are among the favorites for the club.

There are 120 families which represent more than two hundred members. Single members are also welcomed.

The club holds monthly and annual meetings, fund raisers, pedal pulls for the youth and participates in many area parades.

Our first THRESHEREE (Steam Show) was held in 1986. The show was a huge success and the club has been hosting the event ever since.  The Thresheree is always held the weekend after Labor Day, at the Pickett Steam Club Grounds.

We hope you enjoy our website and please feel free to stop back for updates.
